

Visual identity for the Bytom Film Festival, an annual event in Poland that bridges local cinematic culture with world cinema while championing young filmmakers and critics.
The 2020 edition was particularly unique, moving entirely online due to global restrictions. To capture a festive, unforgettable atmosphere in a digital space, the visual system needed to be incredibly vibrant and high-impact.
Building on the retro aesthetic of the previous year, the design explores a bold, nostalgic visual language. Inspired by the striking patterns and color palettes found in the films of Pedro Almodóvar, Stanley Kubrick, and Wes Anderson, the identity pairs classic '60s and '70s retro motifs with smooth gradients and quirky, modern typography.
The scope of work included a complete digital and print rollout, spanning social media content, promotional banners, event posters, and custom diplomas for the festival winners.
